New interior design features on the Glacier Bay 27’s

The NEW Glacier Bay 2740, 2770 and 2780 have lots of design changes for 2014 that give each a new “luxe” look while keeping the durable Glacier Bay materials they are famous for. All three models have a new exterior cushion design featuring seating designed to not only be fashionable, but more comfortable too.

Take a look at the new L-lounge seating in the 2740. The rolled edge helps passengers feel securely “anchored” while underway with the upper backrest panels hitting the upper back in just the right spots.

The aft fold-down seats have the same new look. Notice the sculptured bottom cushions formed to “cradle” your crew.

The bow area of the new 2740 has lounge seats that invite your shipmates to enjoy that smooth Glacier Bay ride up front. The rolled edge panels hold you in whether seated facing or leaning back and lounging in comfort!

The Corian surfaces on the entertainment centers coordinate with the new color palette and when you look at all the new exterior cabinetry, note what’s missing. We’ve eliminated all the screw fasteners that dotted the cabinetry work and changed the materials to color-coordinated acrylic that mirrors the fiberglass. The result is a “yachty” feel of custom –built cabinetry.

The new helms on the 27 series Glacier Bays feature a color-coordinated electronics mounting panel that fits with the new vinyl colors. On the 2770 and 2780 cabin boats, that wood grain follows into the cabin cabinetry.

There are new fabrics and throw cushions in the 2770 and 2780 too. And the privacy/ shower curtain color pulls all of it together.

So, drop by your Glacier Bay dealer or visit us at a show and tell us what you think of the new Glacier Bay look. It’s all the durability of a Glacier Bay in an elegant new package.
