Our Legacy

The current economic situation has created unequalled opportunities for Glacier Bay: we recently combined with our main rival, World Cat, which lets us challenge our mono-hull competitors in a much stronger position. We are also developing a line of 17' to 25' entry-level catamarans, to debut next spring.

As I head to the 2009 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, we are launching a new campaign to promote the advantages catamarans have over mono-hulls, and dispelling many of the myths about cats. We have a unique opportunity to grow the cat segment by demonstrating how we bring our customers a strong value for their investment and a better alternative to traditional boating. For example, as many of you know, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand are known for the rough waters and their boater's knowledge, and cat boats are five times more prevalent in those countries than in the US. Our goal is to grow the catamaran niche in the US, and I know we can achieve this goal: we have a strong company, a great message, a broad product line, and most importantly, we have a customer base that's passionate about telling our story.

As of today, we've shipped most versions of the 26's for dealer boat shows. We've made a lot of improvements to our 2010 models, and we invite you to come see them for yourself.

If you're in the market for a new boat, know that our dealers have very limited inventory. However, your local dealer can buy any boat in the network, providing you with a great price and the service you deserve. To help you find the right boat for you, we have listed our dealers' boats and options. Click here to view.

We look forward to a bright future.
